Probably Stolen Immunivax: Is This Injector Real and Usable?

Check label spelling, serial range, recalled prefixes and indicator color before you trust an Immunivax injector.

Items & Threats · Checked October 25, 2026 · 4 min read

To check an Immunivax injector in Probably Stolen, answer two separate questions: is it genuine, and is it usable? Inspect the label and the seven-digit serial with the identification guide and magnifier. The serial must fall between 1250000 and 4559999, and serials starting with 250, 251, 301, 355, 385, 386 or 421 are recalled. Then check the indicator: green means usable, orange means expired and red means empty, while a cracked injector cannot be used at all.

Genuine is not the same as usable

A real Immunivax injector can still be worthless to a buyer. It might be recalled, expired, empty or damaged. Community references stress keeping these checks apart.

Start with authenticity, then move on to usability. Skipping the second step is how genuine-but-useless stock ends up on your shelf.

Step 1: check the label

Read the label carefully. The documented spelling is "Carmicheal Pharmaceutical" and "Immunivax". Counterfeits can differ by a letter.

Use the magnifier to read small text. Do not substitute a similar-looking medical item without checking its identity.

Step 2: check the serial number

The serial is seven digits. Community references give the valid range as 1250000 to 4559999. A number outside that range points to a fake.

Read the full number, not just the first few digits. The magnifier helps here too.

Step 3: check for a recall

Some genuine serials are recalled. The documented recalled three-digit prefixes are 250, 251, 301, 355, 385, 386 and 421. If the serial starts with any of these, the injector is recalled.

Recalled does not mean counterfeit. It means a genuine product that should not be used. Price and sell it accordingly, if at all.

Step 4: check the indicator

The indicator shows the injector's state. Green means usable. Orange means expired, and red means empty.

Read the indicator after you have confirmed the injector is genuine. A green light on a fake is still a fake.

Step 5: check the casing

Inspect the casing for damage. A cracked injector is unusable, even if everything else checks out. Damage is easy to miss at a glance.

This is the last check, and it is still worth doing every time.

The Immunivax guide in game

The game provides an identification guide for Immunivax. Update 049 changed Skip Intro mode so it starts you with the Immunivax guide. It also grants the topical bandage that the tutorial's after-hours visit normally gives.

If you skip the intro, you still have the reference you need. Keep it open while you inspect injectors.

Why players search for Immunivax

Immunivax matters most in runs with disease pressure. The videos below come from challenge runs with Sentinel Collapse Disorder, where finding a working injector becomes urgent. They show the search, not a reliable way to get one.

The developer's 1.0 preview warns plainly against playing with Sentinel Collapse Disorder on your first run. If you are new, avoid that modifier.

Sourcing: what is not confirmed

We did not verify a guaranteed restock day or drop rate for Immunivax. Sources describe it as scarce in certain runs. Do not trust a guide that promises a fixed schedule.

Check who sells medical supplies in your run and inspect every injector you buy. A recalled or empty injector bought at full price is a loss.

Worked examples

These made-up serials show how the rules combine; they are not real in-game items. Suppose an injector reads "Carmicheal Pharmaceutical – Immunivax" with serial 3104472, a green indicator and intact casing. The spelling matches, the number is in range and 310 is not a recalled prefix, so it is genuine and usable.

Now take serial 3551208 with a green light. The number is in range, so the injector is genuine, but the prefix 355 is recalled. Treat it as a recalled product, not a fake, and do not sell it as working medicine.

A third injector reads serial 4890015. That number is above 4559999, which points to a counterfeit before you even look at the indicator. Set it aside and do not pay a genuine price for it.

Pricing what you find

Price each outcome differently. A genuine, in-date, intact injector is the item buyers are looking for. A genuine but recalled, expired or empty injector is a different product, even though it looks the same.

Counterfeits are the riskiest stock of all. Overpaying for a fake is a direct loss against your rent reserve. Our money and rent guide explains why every bad purchase hurts twice.

Common questions

Is a recalled Immunivax fake? No. Recalled means a genuine product from a serial batch that should not be used. The recall check is separate from the authenticity check.

What does an orange indicator mean? Orange means the injector is expired. Green means usable and red means empty, according to community references.

Can a cracked injector be used? No. A cracked injector is unusable even if the serial and label are correct. Check the casing on every injector.

Where do I get the in-game Immunivax guide? The game provides one, and Update 049 makes Skip Intro mode start you with it. Keep it open while you inspect.

The same inspection habits work on other items. Our plasma cartridge guide shows a formula-based appraisal. The Augs guide covers spotting suspicious customers.

We will recheck these values after the 1.0 release on October 28, since the developer plans new appraisal items after launch.
